School Owned Instrument Check-OUT-
ALL School Owned Instruments must have a School Owned Instrument Rental Contract turned in to Mr. Peters. This is for Inventory Purposes. The Rental Fee for the Instrument must be turned in to Mr. Peters (checks to MMS) by the end of the 1st Quarter OR a payment plan agreed upon with Mr. Peters in writing.
The MMS Band will only pay for minor repairs totaling $50 or less. Any other repairs are the responsibility of the family renting the instrument.
Advanced Band Students will start using Smart Music during the 2nd Quarter. Families are expected to purchase a subscription directly from www.smartmusic.com on their own. Yearly Subscriptions are $40 and expire 1 year from the purchase date. Students that can not afford a Smart Music subscription will be able to use the Band Room Practice Room subscriptions (2 are available) either before or after school to complete and submit their assignments.
Beginning Band students will use this program starting on December 1st. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mr. Peters directly- email@example.com
Students may turn in any classwork/ homework- EXCEPT PRACTICE REPORTS- any time up until October 10th. Students can find any work they are missing or did not receive due to absence in a binder with their class name in the back of the band room on top of the cabinet. Students that turn in assignments with no name will not earn credit for those assignments because ALL no name assignments are not graded and go directly into the garbage can.
